Impact Statement

Disability Support exists to improve the lives of disabled people, carers, and other vulnerable members of the community by providing information, advice, advocacy, and practical support that enables people to live more independently and with greater confidence.

We aim to reduce poverty, improve well-being, tackle inequality, and prevent social isolation by helping people access their rights, maximise their income, overcome barriers, and connect with their communities. Through our services, we empower people to make informed choices, improve their quality of life, and achieve better long-term outcomes for themselves and their families.

By combining professional expertise with lived experience, we help thousands of people each year to increase their financial security, improve their physical and mental well-being, and participate more equally in society.

Mission Statement

We strive to empower disabled individuals, older adults, and carers within Nottingham and Nottinghamshire by providing them with resources, support, and community connections to positively impact their lives.

Vision Statement

We want to reach out to more people in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire. Spreading the message, work and services Disability Support provides.
